The original Lady Magic team played together in the summer of 1983. The team was comprised of players and coaches from the UOP Lady Tigers (hence the orange and black colors), and was coached by former Tiger baseball coach Tom Stubbs and Mike Saulter. 

Sponsored by Maaco Magic Softball, the names were combined to form LADY MAGIC!

This one year wonder of a team finished in 3rd place at the 1983 Women's A Fastpitch National Championships.
